A comedy about relationship, friendship, advancement, deception, perfume and a whole lot of Megans.
It is November of 1958 in the two bed room apartment of Nathan Dufour. Nathan is up for promotion against two other guys. His boss, Mr. Weathers has made it clear, he wants a stable married man for the position. He will meet each of the candidates for a home cooked meal and make his decision.
Desperate, Nathan, who is single decides to create a family to impress his boss. He asks his girlfriend, Megan to pretend to be his wife for a day. Megan, insulted that Nathan did not actually ask her to marry him, stomps away declaring their relationship is over.
Scooter, Nathan’s unemployed best friend, recommends his special friend Lola to play the pretend wife. Nathan is not comfortable with Lola as she is a prostitute. However, Nathan reluctantly goes along with the plan.
An hour before dinner, Lola calls, she is out of town and may not make the dinner. Nathan than decides, honesty is the best policy and will confess to his boss.
Unknown to Nathan, Scooter takes on the role as Megan. Then, Lola the prostitute, who is extremely pregnant shows up. The real Megan has a change of heart and she shows up to the dinner. There are now three Megan’s.
Will Nathan get the promotion? What about all the Megans? What will Nathan do?
