Scaredy Cat - A play in one act by Kieron Toner
Lost in the fog, Sam is glad to find a cosy pub in which to warm up and rest. The jovial landlord and his patrons welcome her and it is not long before she has joined them around the log fire, telling stories and enjoying the fun. Things take a darker turn, literally, when the power fails and the inevitable ghost stories by candlelight begin. Why is Jana obsessed by 'home'? Why does Simon not seem to know what job he does? Why do ghostly flames flicker and dance while the sound of a hangman's trapdoor echoes around the pub? And who will be going home when last orders are called?
