Chaucer visits the landlord of the Tabard Inn who is planning to present plays of Chaucer’s Tales to drum up custom. A group of four actors join them to re-enact The Knight’s Tale, The Miller’s Tale, The Nun’s Priest’s Tale, The Pardoner’s Tale and The Wife of Bath’s Tale and then they try decide which is the best. Dan Borengasser has created a cast of charmingly funny chracters to act out the stories and in doing so he has completely captured the essence of Chaucer’s bawdy humour.
